QA Manual Lead (Capital Market domain)

● 10+ Years experience in which at least 4 +years in the capital market is must.

● Capital Markets and experience working with Broadridge and Bloomberg and other fixed income booking systems.

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

● The Operations department services to branches and relevant Front offices to deliver best in class client experience & business growth in a controlled environment. Operations is responsible for markets Settlement, Payment & Cash.

Clearing/Funding, post-settlement activities, Reconciliations Control and Regulatory Reporting.

● Experience working with various Broker/Dealer products securities processing including Equities, Bonds, Treasuries, ABS, MBS, Securitized Products, Repos/Reverse Repo, Stock Borrow/Loan.

● Experience with Industry wide initiatives within a global bank supporting Regulatory changes especially TRACE.

● 10+ years of experience working in a role spanning from Front office to Back office including finance and Risk.

● Prior experience in delivering Operations related projects, familiarity with processes and controls

● Experience with middle office systems and Regulatory reporting Streamline interface to the business to end to end operational process supporting the securities and derivatives product

● QA coordinator with proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management

● Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Agile and Waterfall)

● Hands on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution and Defect Management

● Hands on experience in creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, regression testing, data driven testing and meeting their SLAs

● Able to independently review and analyze business requirements; evaluate data sources, business rules etc.

● Strong understanding of SQL concepts – must have experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases

● Control M experience and SSIS – able to run jobs independently (Preferred)

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications, with a particular focus on banking and financial services. This position requires expertise in manual testing methodologies, database testing, and familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing Expertise: Execute and manage manual testing processes including test planning, case creation, execution, and defect tracking. Develop both positive and negative test scenarios to ensure comprehensive application functionality validation.

Web and Mobile Testing: Perform hands-on testing of web and mobile applications across diverse platforms, including Android and iOS, to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Database Testing: Leverage a solid understanding of database concepts to conduct database testing. Write and execute SQL queries to verify and validate data integrity and functionality.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Actively participate in requirement gathering sessions, drawing on Business Analyst experience to provide valuable insights. Analyze requirements to improve user experience, ensure alignment with business needs, and translate them into actionable test cases.
